Performance with movement, sound, projected light

Collaboration with Charli Brissey

Exhibited:

423 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA, December 7-13, 2012

In the storefront window of a vacant building in front of one of the busiest streets in Richmond, Charli Brissey's choreographed performance activated the public space, demanding attention from an unsuspecting audience of commuters, shoppers, and students.  The screen behind her lit up with a real-time projection performance, designed and performed by Zach Duer.  Passerbys were invited to enter the gallery space to experience an alternate setting for the piece from the opposite side of the projection screen, along with electronic music also performed live by Duer.
